Micro Electrode Array Scanning electron micro graph of the micro electrode array fabricated for use in neural stimulation and recording. The array consists of 16 individually isolated nickel/gold electrodes. The electrodes are encapsulated by silicon nitride, except at the recording sites located on teh cantilevered tips and the bonding pads at the other end of the electrodes. |
